Tomorrow marks the end of my time as a student at Aberystwyth University. With all my assignments submitted I will be free of any student related responsibilities; whilst this feeling is welcomed with a big sigh of relief, I can’t help but also feel a little heartbroken.
Luckily, I was able to hang my work on a wall within a token graduate exhibition along with my fellow students. We all went as a group on Monday this week to view one another’s work and everyone did amazing! Although not how I’d pictured my end of year degree show, I was very pleased to be able to visit it with my friends and celebrate with a cocktail after.
So much time, stress and dedication went into this semester and I couldn’t be happier with my final outcome. Got some exciting things planned for my future and can’t wait to begin my career as an artist.
In the coming months I’m hoping to book in some solo exhibitions so I can properly showcase my degree work. In addition to this, I will be uploading my final essay and digital portfolio to my website very soon for you to have a gander of!
I can’t wait to see where the next year takes me and what awaits me in Leeds!
